Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said on Wednesday that it would be in April, and at the latest in May it will be possible to abandon coal imports from Russia thanks to the bill, the draft of which was sent to the Sejm by the government. It prohibits the import and transit of Russian coal through Poland. The boss also stated that thanks to the gas terminal in Świnoujście, the Baltic Pipe gas pipeline, as well as the floating Gdańsk gas terminal, we will be able to to become independent from Russian gas this year.
Morawiecki also announced that “we will do our best to quit the Russian job by the end of this year.”
