Within the scope of the conference on “Fighting Corruption — Risk Prevention and Management Plan”, organized in direct articulation with the Corruption Prevention Council (CPC), which took place in the spaces of the municipality of Lisbon, with the presence of an elected official from the Bodies. of the city and officials of the municipality, Joana Almeida said that, simultaneously with this plan, the council already intends on three fronts, namely the Review of the code of conduct and ethics, creation of the whistleblower channel and improvement of the transparency portal.

Joana Almeida informed that the plan being prepared as a strategic axis “people, organization and the city” is based on three pillars: prevention, with monitoring and follow-up indicators and with the involvement of all those who are part of the municipal services and all Lisbon citizens.
The basis for drawing up the plan has as “basic principles” the digital transformation, personal data protection and information securitysaid the mayor, explaining that to implement this strategy, a working group was set up, made up of representatives from all the organic units of the municipal council.
In this diagnostic phase, the strategic plan to “realize the state of the art” in which the municipality finds itself in relation to several, the municipality, including public procurement, finance, information systems, urbanism and heritage, mentioned and Combating Corruption .

In the city axis, the intervention involves administrative documents with clearer language, simple digital services for citizens and companies, improvement of the mechanisms of access to information and improvement of the means and channels of communication with the citizen.
