In Toulouse, employees of the McKinsey agency claim to “reduce their salaries”
Aware of the turmoil resulting from the very significant and expensive use of their services by the State, the employees of the Toulouse site (based on rue de la Descente de la Halle aux Poissons, in the historic district) of the consulting firm McKinsey have set up yesterday in the streets of Toulouse to demand a reduction in their wages.
“We did not hit our ‘target’ well. We now need to move towards “a rebranding process” which must be accompanied by a “wage reduction” [1] “says Alberic Brème, member of TogetherColleague, an organization of employees which proposes to “re-enchant the union Dream” in the company.
“Our leaders have not sufficiently understood that our firm must reinvent itself and become more efficient. Thus proving more than ever its resilience and agility,” said Marie-Christine de La Courbine de Congrès, union representative. The dozen employees, dressed in three-piece suits or brand suits, held up signs: “Less wages, Mc Kinsey more cushy!” or “Less money is more productivity“.
Some sang at the top of their lungs the popular song of Zaz, I want [2]. They could continue their actions today, April 1st.
