For the Easter weekend, Toulouse is the cheapest destination in France
Easter is approaching… And its 3-day weekend too. On this occasion, the booking site Kayak.fr revealed its ranking of cheapest French cities for a little Easter getaway. In its prize list, the south of France has most destinations at low cost, among them the Pink city.

Toulouse, the cheapest destination
“The south dominates the ranking with a podium made up of Toulouse, Montpellier and Perpignan”, reveals the site Kayak in a press release. “With average prices between 304 euros and 343 euros for return flights and three nights’ hotel, Toulouse is the cheapest French city for the weekend of April 15 to 18. Nantes closes the ranking with a weekend at an average price of 343 €” specifies the site.
Thus, for a stay in Toulouse, the average budget of a return flight and three nights in a hotel amounts to 304 euros, according to the booking site. Note that the average price of a return flight is 109 eurosand for a hotel night, it will cost on average 65 euros in the Pink City. It should be noted that these rates were revealed between February 1 and March 13, 2022 for stays scheduled between April 15 and 18, 2022. It is therefore very likely that prices increasein case of late booking.
Traffic at Blagnac airport takes off again
The Toulouse-Blagnac terminal is expecting an increase in traffic. The reopening of Hall A on April 1 had indeed been announced at the start of the year. As a reminder, hall A ceased all activity in March 2020, due to the health crisis and the confinement that followed. However, according to data from Kayak.frToulouse does not appear in the top 5 of the ranking of most searched French destinations for the long Easter weekend, when its rates are very attractive.
Mediterranean cities, for their part, have the coast with travelers, as evidenced by the ranking of the booking site. Ajaccio to arrive effectively at the first place of the prize list, in front of Paris, Nice, Bastia and Marseilles.
