Berlin puts pressure on Monaco in Euroleague
In the fight for qualification for the Euroleague play-offs, the Monegasques closely followed the three late games scheduled for Tuesday evening, which pitted several of their direct competitors against each other. Without playing, the Roca Team gained a place in the standings thanks to the defeat of Bayern Munich on the floor of Milan, already qualified (84-77). She moves to 7th place, just ahead of the Bavarians.
Fenerbahçe is no longer one of its rivals, after its loss at home against Berlin (57-66). The Turkish club, still deprived of Nando De Colo, keeps a tiny hope of qualification but can no longer catch up with Monaco.
Monaco – Berlin, a duel that could prove decisive
Berlin, defeated by Yoel Zoosman (20 pts, 5/9 to 3 pts), however remains fully in the race, now ninth with 3 wins for the Principality team. And the German formation will move on April 8 on the Rock during the last day of the regular season, for a final duel which could well prove decisive.
Winner on the floor of Panathinaikos (95-83), Maccabi Tel-Aviv has almost composted his ticket for the knockout phase.
Monaco will shoot one of its last two cards Thursday in Milan during the 33rd day.
