Michel Guérin appointed director of the Lake Annecy tourist office
Michel Guérin knows the region and the workings of institutional structures well thanks to his background in the industry.
Michel Guérin is the new director of the Lake Annecy tourist office. He succeeds Christophe Oliero, who held the position on an interim basis for a year.
Since 2018, Michel Guérin has held the dual management of the Lac du Der Tourist Office and the Syndicat mixte du Lac du Der, in Champagne. But he does not land in unfamiliar territory. Indeed, he began his career as an animation manager in La Plagne and Méribel, in Savoie. The position of director of the joint association for the management and development of the Val de Seine outdoor and leisure base.
Half an employee
In 1998, Michel Guérin took up the position of director of the national gliding center in Château-Arnoux-St-Auban, before occupying, for 8 years, that of general manager of the social tourism association Renouveau Vacances. In 2008, he joined the institutional sphere by becoming general manager of the Haute-Marne departmental tourism office, located in Champagne.
Finally, Michel Guérin held the position of director of the Amnéville tourist office.
The Lake Annecy Tourist Office has an annual budget of 2 million euros and has over 400 members. It currently manages seven tourist information offices with a team of around fifty employees, permanent and seasonal for the summer season.
