Concert in Luxembourg – Maluma made the show in the heart of the crowd
More than 6000 people gathered in the great hall of the Rockhal, we had not seen that for five months, and the arrival of the German DJ Paul Kalkbrenner last October. A sunny day, a crowd weaned from live music for months, the conditions were right for the grand premiere of Maluma in Luxembourg, this Monday evening. And it is a very predominantly female audience who welcomed the handsome kid from Medellin.
After a brief video summary of the star’s rise, Maluma appeared in the center of a 360-degree stage, installed in the heart of the audience, and overlooked by four huge screens. Surrounded by his troupe of dancers, and his musicians and his DJ on the sides of the stage, the Colombian singer, dressed in a checkered shirt and shorts, attacked with “Hawái”. A title immediately taken up in chorus by the fans, as a welcome. A little later he dropped the sunglasses and could test the fervor of the public on “Corazón”.
More dancing than the other, the Latin pop and reggaeton hits followed one another, from “Madrid” to “Borro Cassette”, passing by “HP”, on which the flames sprang up, or the recent “Mama Tetema”, duet with Rayvanny. Maluma also resumed on stage his versions of “Djadja” with Aya Nakamura and “Hola Señorita” with Gims. With this huge show and this festive Latino vibe sweeping through the Rockhal, it was hard to believe it was Monday night.
