Big fright for the inhabitants of this residence located in Aucamville (Haute-Garonne), north of Toulouse. Saturday March 26, 2022, the roof of a residential building at 126, chemin des Bourdettes, suddenly collapsed.
Tiles in the room
12 firefighters responded to the scene. The incident caused no injuries “and there is no risk of the building collapsing”, indicating the firefighters to Toulouse News. More fear than harm because tiles fell in particular in the bedroom of a dwelling located on the first floor of the residence.
17 people relocated
According to the Saint-Michel gendarmerie company, it is “an old building, dating from the 1980s. The gusts of wind in recent days have not helped.”
A decree of insalubrity must be taken by the town hall of Aucamville, which brought assistance to the people who lived in the dwellings affected by the collapse of the roof. 17 people had to be relocated.
