Happy@work: take care of the carer who is in us, March 31 in Libramont
In addition to the actions implemented by the Province of Luxembourg to attract general practitioners to the territory and future actions to counter the shortage of nurses, it has proven essential to also encourage the maintenance of these health professionals in their profession.
The mental, emotional and physical burden that particularly affects the care professions can negatively affect the well-being of carers. This workload, if it is not properly taken into account and listened to, possibly coupled with other triggering factors, can lead to situations of professional exhaustion, burn-out or even absenteeism.
It therefore appears essential that the care professional becomes aware of the importance of taking care of himself, of “treating the caregiver within him” in order to be in the most optimal and beneficial care relationship possible with his patient and to remain in the profession with satisfaction.
The Happy@Work evening will take place on March 31, 2022 at 7:30 p.m. at the Haute Ecole Robert Schuman in Libramont in the M6 auditorium (HERS – Rue de la Cité, 64 in Libramont). About ten expert speakers (doctor, psychologist, coach, kinesiologist, etc.) will offer concrete tools to promote well-being at work.
The event is free and requires registration. Catering offered at the end of the evening.
