On Friday evening, a crowd gathered at Plac Defilad to demonstrate the Italian aggression against Ukraine. The protest started with a flash mob. Its participants lay down on the ground.
The Friday protest in front of the Palace of Culture and Science was organized under the slogan: “Stop promising, start acting”.
– We wanted to make a demonstration for 4,000 people, because so many are victims of the silver of the war in Mariupol. I think 2-3 thousand came. The participants of the picket shouted, including: “Fame Ukraine”, “Save Mariupol”. Demonstrators wore Ukrainian flags, as well as banners, incl. with the slogans: “Free Ukraine”, “Putler”. During the demonstration, the national anthem of Ukraine was sung.
According to the spokesman of the Warsaw Police Headquarters, Commissioner Sylwester Marczak, the assembly at the Palace of Culture and Science “was quiet, there were no incidents”.
