SO Cholet – FC Annecy (1-4): The SOC falls on more realistic
This Friday evening, the Choletais fell against stronger at the Stade Omnisports. In difficulty in the first minutes and facing a more realistic FC Annecy, the Rouge et Noir lost with the score of 4 goals to 1.
A missed start to the match
However, it is Richard Déziré’s men who are the most dangerous, and this from the first minute! On an outing to the rescue of Florian Escales, Alexandre Gameiro tries to lob the last Annecy line, the Cholet player misses the target.
Then, Annecy spear wire wagon. On a free kick from 35 meters struck by the former Nice, Alexy Bosseti, Bisetty Mendy cuts the trajectory of the head, the leather takes the direction of the goal of Nicolas Kocik (0-1, 5 ‘)
Three minutes later, on a cross from the left, Kévin Testud heads in and finds the Cholet sideline, Annecy breaks (0-2, 8′).
Cholet takes back the colors
Behind the score, but not beaten down, the Choletais are not competent to keep the score well. Faced with a compact block, the Reds and Blacks tried to go through the sides.
In the absence of Pierre Ruffaut and Yoann Le Mehauté, Milan Robin is responsible for taking the free kicks. On one of them, the Choletais striker tries his luck directly, but the ball which reimburses the direction of the back of the net is stopped with a magnificent save by the doorman from Annecy.
Once again from a free kick, Dylan Mboumbouni takes the lead with a powerful header, but Anthony Escales is well placed on his line.
Just before the break, it was Yankuba Jarju’s turn, back from suspension, to try his luck. Well launched in depth, the Choletais striker speeds up two defenders, however, the Gambian does not find the frame.
Les Rouge et Noir have more chances, but more realistic Annecy are in front at the break.
The trap of the first minutes
As at the start of the match, the first minutes are difficult. In the 48th minute, Bosseti initially stumbled over Dylan Mboumbouni, but Godson Kyeremeh foxed in from the surfaces scored FCA’s third goal (0-3, 48′)
The reduction in the SOC score
Energetic since the start of the game, Makan Sidibé is of course working on his left side. The young man from Cholet found Mamadou Guirassy behind, who reduced the score on the hour mark. But that gave some hope in the grandstand of the Omnisports stadium (1-3, 60′).
Subsequently, the two teams offer their game. In the 80th minute, Vincent Créhin thinks of reducing the score, but the assistant referee raises his flag, Yankuba Jarju is signaled offside.
Annecy offers itself a 4th but
In the last moments of the match, on an exit from Nicolas Kocik outside his area, the Whites recover the ball and Jonathan Ruque, facing an empty but, plants the 4th but from Annecy.
Now it’s time to move against FC Villefranche, next Friday.
