Brussels mayors want to refund registration fees of Ukrainians | Brussels
Brussels RegionThe Conference of Brussels Mayors decided on Wednesday that Ukrainians arriving in one of the nineteen Brussels municipalities should not have to pay their registration fees themselves. sometimes widely divergent.
The federal government recently decided that the PCSWs in our country receive 135 percent of a living wage for each refugee they receive. That increase is there for the cost of getting the Ukrainians.
“We ask that the registration costs be paid either directly through the living wage they receive from the CPAS or via reimbursement by the CPAS of the municipality. We ask the region to provide clarity about these modalities. and we ask the region that this period goes as smoothly as possible,” says Olivier Deleuze (Ecolo), mayor of Watermael-Boitsfort and chairman of the Conference of Brussels Mayors.
In addition to the Brussels mayors agreements regarding the reception of Ukrainians by and private individuals of them can give resident cards to the many refugees who came to our country by car.
