The city of Nice and the Opera organizedt a concert for peace in solidarity with the Ukrainian people this Tuesday, March 22 at 8 p.m.
The pianist Nicolas Bringuier and his wife Olga Monakh, of Ukrainian origin and very active locally since the start of the conflict, surrounded by artists who have long been committed to fraternity between peoples.
He will perform works of works by Brahms, Dvorak, Fauré, Rachmaninoff, Scriabin, Tchaikovsky and even Skoryk.
Proceeds from this evening will be reversed at an association helping Ukrainian children in war zones.
We remember that the Nice Opera Orchestra played the Ukrainian anthem on March 9 at the opening of the Victoires de la Musique evening.
Charity evening in favor of refugees also this Tuesday in the Var. A fundraiser funds for the benefit of the Mouvement pour la Paix, the Secours Populaire and the reception center for asylum seekers in Est Var will result from this.
