How to apply for the energy bonus in Luxembourg?
A energy bonus for low-income households may be requested from households highly impacted by the rising energy prices.
Households benefiting from the cost-of-living allowance (AVC) can now receive an energy bonus of minimum 200 euros and maximum 400 euros depending on the composition of the household. This first energy may also be requested by households that are not eligible for AVC, but whose income is up to 25% higher than stroke-eligible income.

Households benefiting from the AVC will automatically benefit from it – this concerns both households that have already obtained the payment and those that are still awaiting receipt of it; applications for obtaining the AVC refused because of exceeding the ceiling of the incomes will be reconsidered in accordance with the new provisions without them needing to be reintroduced. All other households will need to introduce their request until 30 September at the latest.
The “application for obtaining a stroke/energy bonus” form is now available on the website of the National Solidarity Fund (FNS) and on Guichet.lu or can be requested directly from the FNS or the competent social office.
For any information about the AVC and the energy bonus, the SNSF is at your disposal on the expected days from 08.30 – 11.30 at the following telephone number 49 10 81 – 999. The e-mail address is avc.fns@secu .read.
