Enac victim of a cyberattack, a ransom demanded

While the amount of ransom demanded is not knownthe cyberattack caused strong disturbances at the level of the courses in particular on Monday, March 14. “As of Tuesday, we have put in place parallel systems which allowed us to resume an activity on the teaching side”, specifies Enac, which “has never experienced an attack of this magnitude”. A complaint has been filed with the Toulouse judicial police.
In addition, the establishment’s aircraft fleet was momentarily immobilized, the maintenance of the machines being carried out online. “Flights have now resumed and we are using the necessary planes,” says Philippe Joachim. For now, neither hackers nor the virus used could not be identified. A lot of computer equipment remains unusableinfected car.
“Our IT department, accompanied by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGAC) was able to isolate the affected equipment and protect the data”, explains the deputy director.
