Camurria, the new Sicilian street-food paradise in Toulouse | Italian
You are clearly not ready for what follows… Do you think so? So make yourself comfortable and put your bib around your neck! A few weeks ago, a new paradise for gourmets and lovers of Italian cuisine has been set up at 40 rue Pargaminières. At Camurrìa, we specialize in Sicilian street-food. And believe us, you won’t come out unscathed…
If you don’t know it yet, Sicilian street-food, these are the arancinis, the gnocchi or the cannolis. Suffice to say that we love it and that we have a hard time stopping when we start falling into it. The arancini is a breaded and fried rice ball stuffed with various ingredients and mozzarella, but also in a world cuisine version with exotic recipes and in a sweet version.
On the menu, there are various arancini recipes to die for : spaghetti-carbonara-truffles, pistachio-bacon-cheese, mushrooms, beef-peas-tomato, shrimp, salmon, chicken-curry… But also the traditional pizzas, tiramisus and ice cream. So many marvels to devour with your fingers (or not) and without inviting this damn moderation that breaks the mood. Have fun!
