Toulouse: he kept 3 kg of cannabis to settle his brother’s debts
During an operation in the Bagatelle district of Toulouse, the police arrested an individual and recovered 3 kg of cannabis resin plus €5,000.
Some smells don’t lie. Last week, during a public road operation, the police surprised characteristic fumes escaping from a parked car, in the Bagatelle district of Toulouse.
No one to claim ownership of the vehicle but the police observed a woman going back and forth at the foot of this building then they saw a man visibly in a hurry to leave his accommodation via the balconies! Arrested, this 33-year-old man admitted to being the owner of the vehicle, and the woman’s former companion showed up at the foot of the building. Inside the suspect’s car, the police discovered 3 kg of cannabis resin.
In police custody, the suspect explained that he was keeping these narcotics for a third party, whose name he carefully ceased to give. In his apartment, the police also discovered more than €3,000 in cash. This individual explained that he kept this drug to settle the debts of his little brother contracted with traffickers in the neighborhood.
Accompanied by his lawyer Me Brice Zanin, the respondent was able to clarify his explanations. The investigations carried out by the investigators revealed them.
Left free, this man explains himself to justice in the context of a so-called plea-guilty hearing. Drugs and cash were confiscated.
