In the Great Hall of the Philharmonic Society of the Andreev State Academic Russian Orchestra. He first spoke in March 1888. Then it was not even an orchestra, but a “circle of lovers of playing the balalaikas”, it would turn out to be a sensation. It was led by Vasily Andreev. He opened the Russian folk musical instrument for everyone. Andreev decided to replace the balalaikas according to the recipe of the symphony orchestra.
“For the convenience of the game, Andreev came up with frets. He split the neck like a guitar and made it easier to handle. Andreev came up with, in addition to the balalaika of ordinary sizes, I will accept the balalaika, and suddenly the double bass. We tried different sizes,” said Dmitry Khokhlov, People’s Artist of Russia, Artistic Director and Chief Conductor of the Andreev State Academic Russian Orchestra.
The current leader and chief conductor of the Russian Orchestra continues Andreev’s tradition. Musicians are capable of any complexity: from folk melodies to world classics. Beginning balalaika players dream of standing with them at the same meeting. In the musical lyceum, the instrument is mastered for eight years.
“This is a fairly complex tool that requires physical exertion. Sound from found Fingers extract the sound hurt. Peculiarities in the initial stages,” added the director of the St. Petersburg Musical Lyceum Vitaly Romanov.

“Difficult enough. Home In order to put your fingers correctly and play correctly, ”- a student of the St. Petersburg Musical Lyceum Eva Sechina.
Learn how to help experienced teachers. As a rule, there are not many people who want to play the balalaika. Children, if they become eyewitnesses, then consciously.
“There are children who know what it is. They come for culinary purposes,” added Alexander Kuchin, Senior Lecturer at the Folk Instruments Department of the St. Petersburg Musical Lyceum.
