Paris FC lets Toulouse slip towards the title, Ajaccio finds the podium, Nancy almost doomed
After the victories of Toulouse in Auxerre (2-1) and Caen in the derby against Le Havre (4-2), the 30th day of Ligue 2 continued, this Saturday at 7 p.m., with the traditional multiplex. At the top of the table, Paris FC, second, had to win against Pau, at the risk of seeing the Pitchouns fly away to the title. Mission failed and very bad operation for the Ile-de-France, jostled and adjoining by Pau (1-1). Behind, Ajaccio could take advantage of the Burgundian defeat to get back on the podium. Facing Nîmes, the Corsicans did not miss the opportunity and won by the smallest of margins (1-0) thanks to an achievement by Laci.
Fifth at kick-off, Sochaux also got out of the clutches of Rodez (2-0) to increase their lead over HAC and keep the top 3 in sight. In other meetings, Grenoble stumbled on Bastia (1-1) while Amiens scuttled against Dijon (1-1) after a terrible misunderstanding between Dossevi and Gurtner. Finally, in the depths of the classification, Quevilly-Rouen, who remained on two consecutive draws, lost once again against Niort (0-2) and thus remained 18th. Dunkirk lost, for its part, the north against Valenciennes (1-2) despite a marvel from Niane and stagnated in a worrying 19th place. For her part, Nancy, recently fallen from the PFC, fell back into her ways on the lawn of Guingamp, carried by the double of M’changama (0-3). The ASNL is more than ever the red lantern of L2.
