Koronovirus: 6,736 new cases in Attica, 2,057 in Thessaloniki – The map of the diaspora

Specifically from the total of 19,705 cases that were announced today across the country, the 6,736 were traced to Attica and even 2,057 in Thessaloniki.

The epidemiological picture according to EODY
In detail, the announcement of EODY for the cases that were identified on Saturday, March 19 is as follows:
“The new laboratory confirmed cases of the disease recorded in the last 24 hours is 19,705, of which 19 were identified after checks at the country’s gates. The total number of cases is 2,776,192 (daily change + 0.7%), of which 49.3% are men.
Based on the confirmed cases of the last 7 days, 189 are considered to be related to travel from abroad and 1,818 are related to an already known case.
The new deaths There are 46 patients with COVID-19, while a total of 26,893 deaths have been recorded since the beginning of the epidemic. 95.2% had underlying meaning and / or age 70 years and older.
The number of patients treated intubated is 349 (62.8% men). Their median age is 69 years. 90.8% have underlying meaning and / or age 70 years and over. Among intubated patients, 224 (64.18%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 125 (35.82%) are fully vaccinated
vaccinated. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,389 patients have been discharged from the ICU.
