The CCI Rouen Métropole and the Community of Communes Yvetot Normandie support merchants in their digital transformation
Strongly impacted by the health crisis that has been raging for 2 years now, local businesses must accelerate their digital shift to adapt to new consumption patterns. Merchants must now be visible online, master the services allowing them to activate click and collect, but also build an “omnichannel” strategy with the use of digital services allowing them to offer consumers a new in-store shopping experience. .
Within the framework of partnerships, the CCI accompanies the communities of municipalities to support and assist merchants through various actions, including digitalization. It is in this context that the CCI Rouen Métropole proposes to the Community of Communes Yvetot Normandy to infect the Ma Ville Mon Shopping system with the merchants of its territory.
This approach responds to the ambition shared by the two structures to work together by strengthening their capacity for action in the local economic field.
Ma Ville Mon Shopping, a turnkey digital solution for merchants
Created in 2017 and a subsidiary of Groupe La Poste, Ma Ville Mon Shopping is a marketplace that allows local traders, craftsmen and producers to sell their products online very easily and to extend their catchment areas.
This platform aims to help them maintain commercial activity during periods of confinement at preferential pricing conditions.
“It is important to be able to offer a lasting solution for merchants in order to support them over the long term in their digital transformation,” explains Vincent Laudat, president of the CCI Rouen Métropole. “This partnership allows us to accelerate the deployment of a local turnkey marketplace which constitutes a complementary offer to the traditional offer to capture new consumers”
“One of the riches of our territory is the diversity of the commercial offer (more than 400 merchants). Local trade is currently undergoing a profound change linked, in particular, to the development of e-commerce for the benefit of major international platforms totally disconnected from our territories. If we note a gradual return of consumers to local shops, this is accompanied by the desire to maintain the purchasing flexibility offered by new technologies”, adds Gérard Charassier, president of the Community of Communes Yvetot Normandy.
Yvetot Normandie wishes to facilitate the commercial dynamics of its territory by offering its local economic players the implementation of an efficient tool.
This partnership between the CCI and Ma ville Mon shopping makes it possible to provide a turnkey solution at an advantageous price to which Yvetot Normandie provides financial support for the training part of the tool and promotion of the Market Place to the general public in particular.
