The Aveyronnais of Toulouse at the table Thursday March 24
Settled for a long time in the Pink City, executive at Carrefour, Marjorie Dalbin had the “a little crazy idea” of bringing together around a meal all those who left Aveyron to settle in the regional capital. Initially scheduled for January 6, this convivial evening, served at the restaurant Les Chimères, belonging to the Laur (father and daughter), had to be postponed for a few weeks. A date has been found…
“The weeks have passed but the enthusiasm remains the same!“. A big smile between her ears, Marjorie Dalbin is delighted that her “a crazy idea“has not aged a bit. Living and working in Toulouse for many years, the former captain of Rodez Aveyron football, an executive at Carrefour, likes “Initiate projects and bring people together“.
Based on the large file of the Aveyron WorldWide group, a network created in 2014 by Stéphane Rouquette and Christophe Palous, she decided to bring together the Aveyronnais of Toulouse at the table. Nearly 70 people responded to the invitation and thus found January 6 at the restaurant Les Chimères. The health crisis postponed this reunion, but Marjorie Dalbin did not let go.
“It was only a postponement, she confirms. Word of mouth worked and we will probably be as much for this new date“. The appointment is set for Thursday, March 24, at 7 p.m., in the establishment of the Laur father and daughter, interior square Saint-Cyprien. With a wink: “Each guest is invited to have a badge with their name and village“.
