From puncher to CEO

A graduate of Sciences-Po and Sup-de-Co, he then wrote some of Fram’s finest hours, democratizing travel abroad.
Captain of a routed ship
From the 2000s, the activity of the Toulouse tour operator had begun to decline, faced with the rise of digital technology, low-cost airlines, and because of a divided family shareholding. The Arab revolutions got the better of Fram, which was taken over in 2015 by the LBO France fund. It was only then that Captain Georges Colson left his ship, at the age of 78. And that the company’s headquarters will move from avenue Alsace-Lorraine, in downtown Toulouse.
The tribute of Jean-Pierre Mas
Georges Colson also chaired the National Society of Travel Agencies (SNAV) for nine years. His successor and friend, Jean-Pierre Mas pays tribute to him: “Georges was a lion. During these 85 years and 3 days of life, he went through the fire and overcame the trials (…) He never gave up, never gave up. »
