King Philippe speaks with refugee Ukrainians in Brussels
The Belgian King Philippe visited a new registration center for refugees from Ukraine in Brussels on Wednesday. He met that deed together with Prime Minister Alexander De Croo.

In the registration center for refugees from Ukraine at the Heysel, a total of 3729 people were registered on Monday and Tuesday. Among them, 720 people have requested housing. The 10,000th Ukrainian refugee in Belgium was registered, even before the visit of the monarch.
According to news agency Belga, Filip spoke with some newly registered refugees during his visit. After registration, they leave for a host family reception centre. The king also took the time to talk to Red Cross staff and staff from the Immigration Department and Fedasil, the institution responsible for the reception of asylum seekers.
