Trailpartie Enduro events in Austria: Races for everyone who never wanted to race
One of the best things about racing is that you can ride the best routes in beautiful places – and with like-minded people. But not everyone wants to deal with the stress that many of the racing series bring with them. And this is exactly the gap the trail game wants to fill! Here you can find all the information about the fun events in Austria.
“The most casual, most relaxed, in short, the most grandiose mountain bike event series that the Alpine region has temporarily seen.” – This is how the organizers from Lines-Mag describe the concept of their trail party. It should bring a breath of fresh air to enduro events and be as simple as it is tempting: manageable altitude difference, plenty of time on the transfers, fun stages with no risk of arm pump, nice people and lots of fun.
Trail party 2022: Dates, information and registration
Registration for the first three of five stops recently opened and spaces are filling up quickly. No wonder, because the first start in 2022 is already available for 10 euros. The trail parties generally take place in spring and autumn, so that the summer can be freely planned. Registration and locations for the two events in autumn will be published at the beginning of summer.

Why is?
According to the organizers, the ultimate goal of the trail party is to send all participants home in a great mood after a glorious day on the bike. The second goal should be to cultivate trails and community. Specifically, this means: for each participant, three euros will be donated to the organization that provides the trails for the event. Subsequently and created, the routes are not maintained by themselves. Series sponsor Specialized also adds to this amount with the Soil Searching Program.
Trail party events are organized by the club of the same name, the parties themselves are club events. This means that anyone who wants to take part must first become a member. This sounds unusual, but has the following advantages:
- Accident insurance (not only for club events, but generally for cycling)
- For each member, another two euros will go into the trail pot. Members decide how to use it at the end of the season. The only condition: it must benefit Trails & Community.
What does a trail party look like? The events take place in smaller trail centers/trail areas and the round with a maximum of 700 meters in altitude is marked from Saturday noon. From then on you can look at the routes or you can join the “sightseeing party” at 1 p.m. and do it on a trip with like-minded people. At 4 p.m. everyone comes together for the prologue game, which has absolutely no effect on Sunday, but instead focuses on having fun and getting to know people. Unless you win, then you will be marked as the winner with “trophies” (e.g. spoke beads).
The late start on Sunday fits into the relaxed concept. That way you can sleep in or look at the routes if you didn’t make it on Saturday. The first riders set off from midday, the last ones arrive at the finish in the late afternoon. Just right for a cool drink that’s already waiting there. The fastest will be chosen in the categories “Lauser” (from 2011), “Strizzis” (under 18), “Big Kids” (adults) and “Dinos” (over 40). But the big prizes are won at the raffle.
