Female truck driver from Sweden has over 300,000 YouTube subscribers
You will not usually find celebrities driving, or even riding for that matter, in large rig cars. Still, there is a female truck driver from Sweden who aims to change that. Angelica Larsson is a young truck driver who takes her experience to YouTube, where her fan base grows to over 300,000 subscribers.
She’s not your typical truck driver, and that may be what’s so appealing about her content. She shares everything from life on the road to new rigs and incredible moves. Her trucker life YouTube channel has made her a celebrity. She also earns some serious money and changes how women view life as a truck driver.
According to Haulier and the American Trucking Association, only about 7% of all American truck drivers are women right now. It is a lonely and dangerous job that is reported to lack the right salary, given today’s risks. A woman took her revenue potential into her own hands and her trucking adventures to YouTube.
Meet Angelica Larsson, a Swedish truck driver who is officially ranked as the world’s leading “trucking influencer”, according to Business Insider. The 31-year-old intended to share his travels across the road as a way to inspire more women to consider careers such as truck driving. She created one Youtube channel and contributes vlog content that has done more than she ever expected.
Her super-successful YouTube channel
You can see Angelica Larsson’s videos about her hugely successful Youtube channel and see why she is growing in popularity. She has received over 321,000 subscribers so far and will not give up anytime soon. Larsson admitted in an interview that she earns around 6,000 dollars every month, which is twice as much as she earns as a truck driver.
Larsson originally started posting fitness-related YouTube videos back in 2014. But as she learned very quickly, her subscribers were more interested in her job as a truck driver. She realized that it was “a little strange” for a small, five-foot-tall woman to navigate dangerous winter road conditions and use heavy machinery. So her vlogging took a turn to showcase more of her life as a truck driver. She can do everything, from driving snow plows, maneuvering icy mountain trails backwards and controlling bulldozers.
Some of her most popular Youtube Vlog segments reach well over 300,000 views, including one she calls “CAT 980 to Finland” a few months ago. In another Youtube vlog, Larsson shows a “Mercedes Electric Truck”, and this video has already logged more than 400,000 views. You can even see her remove a water polo hat with a forklift to show off her crazy skills for the technical side of her job.
Some of the highest paid truck driver jobs in today’s market
Angelica Larsson may be banking with her truck driver career documented on a popular YouTube channel. Still, there are other career options for truck drivers such as Truck Driver Academy says pay absolutely the most. Oversized hauliers and owner-operator drivers round out the bottom half of this top-paying truck list.
Driving a truck with ice is so dangerous that there are reality soaps about the scary roads. These truck drivers can earn anywhere from $ 80,000 to $ 250,000 each season. Tanker drivers also make this high-paying truck list, with earning potential of up to $ 99,500 due to the dangerous cargo involved. Along the same risky loads come hazmat truck drivers who take home up to $ 90,000 annually.
Angelica Larsson’s YouTube channel gives the world a glimpse of what it’s like to be a female truck driver. And as she continues to grow her channel, she will likely inspire other women to enter her career. While it’s a nice benefit to earn $ 6,000 every month, it has always been Larsson’s main goal to empower women behind the wheel of a large rig. She even admitted that she saved all the YouTube money with plans to travel and mentor young women one day.
