Toulouse: 111 des Arts presents a check for 100,000 euros
The Toulouse association has supported research and the well-being of hospitalized children since its creation. She has just presented a check for 100,000 euros to the atrium of the Children’s Hospital, in Toulouse Purpan.
The association of 111 des Arts presented, yesterday Wednesday, a check for €100,000 to the atrium of the Children’s Hospital, in Toulouse Purpan, in the presence of volunteers and researchers.
These 100,000 euros resulted in the sale of 1223 paintings, in the prestigious walls of the chapel of the Hôtel-Dieu, last November and the tombola. But also contributions to the association and donations from individuals and partners “including the Occitanie region, the City of Toulouse, La Dépêche du Midi, BYG, Medsys, Pace Salute, Patrimium groupe, Primonial partners, La caisse d’Epargne , Center Porsche, Labservice, Dixit…”, specifies Françoise Zambeaux, vice-president of 111 des Arts.
This sum goes to a team of researchers, who are working on six different projects.
Since their creation, the 111 des arts have striven to help research and improve the well-being of hospitalized children.
Indeed, the association has set itself the mission of supporting children suffering from serious illnesses, in particular cancer and leukaemia, and the hospital teams who care for them, by reducing the conditions of hospitalization in the hematology departments. and pediatric oncology and by promoting research on these diseases.
“Last year, we had less exposure, due to covid, but we still donated 50,000 euros, thanks to donations in particular”, slips Françoise Zambeaux.
