The supporters meet the young people of the Academy
On Tuesday 8 March, young Monegasques welcomed a delegation from the Monaco Supporters Club to La Diagonale. An interesting meeting between young footballers and supporters where the exchanges were rich. Everyone to share their view of the history of the club.
“Having contact with the young people of AS Monaco is very important for us. They are the future of the club”. Here are the words of the president of the Club des Supporters de Monaco (CSM), Laurent Maire. To do this, this Tuesday March 8, in the premises of the Diagonale, received by Laurent Tinca, head of daily life and Andréa Sardi, moderator, the members of the Monegasque organization were able to meet and communicate with eight of the 70 players of the Academy. During this exchange, Maghnes, Felix, Yann, Lisandru in particular shared their experience and their daily life as a young footballer at the AS Monaco training center.

In a friendly atmosphere, around a shared meal in the Diagonal cafeteria, the protagonists discussed the history of the club and its values. “We immersed them in their memories by asking them questions about AS Monaco’s key matches, epic trips. They let us know their passion by disclosing a lot of anecdotes. It was a real pleasure to meet them,” testifies Mathis Coudour, U17 defender recently selected for the France team.
Supporters of the CSM also dwelt on the actions put in place to encourage the Principality’s club on a daily basis. Travel, in particular. At the stage of the meeting against Olympique de Marseille, several of them will travel together to Braga to attend the knockout stages of the Europa League this Thursday.

Frédéric Barilaro’s men face Montpellier from 2:30 p.m. at the Beaulieu intercommunal stadium n ° 1 in Saint-Jean Cap Ferrat.
