Princesses Stéphanie and Caroline of Monaco mobilized for Women’s Rights Day
While Princess Stéphanie of Monaco was alongside Prince Albert II this Tuesday to unveil a collective fresco as part of Women’s Rights Day, their older sister Princess Caroline of Hanover distinguished choreographer Bernice Coppieters.

Such is the contribution of Princess Stéphanie of Monaco -made just a few hours after the beginning of the invasion of this country by Russia- to the collective work orchestrated by the artist Anthony Alberti, alias Mr One Teas, to mark Women’s Rights Day 2022 in the Principality, can we read in the columns of “Nice-Matin” the day after the unveiling of this work by Prince Albert II at the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco.

The sovereign’s little sister was on the scene, next to him, when he dropped the blue fabric that covered this canvas. Which features a woman carrying water, symbol of Aquarius, on a background of 100 small squares made by as many personalities and anonymous people who had at their disposal spray paint, stencils and a choice of words full of hope for the future: equality, ecology, unity, freedom, sorority, rights, women… “Everyone will then be able to judge the plurality of battles behind that of gender equality, promoted by the Prince’s government and the Committee for the Promotion of women’s rights led by Céline Cottalorda”?
Princess Caroline presented an award to Bernice Coppieters
This same Tuesday, March 8, their eldest, Princess Caroline of Hanover was also mobilized. She was in fact responsible for awarding the Belgian dancer and choreographer Bernice Coppieters the 2022 prize from the association Femmes Leaders Mondiales Monaco. It was she who had named her in 1991 star dancer at the Ballets de Monte-Carlo, before becoming in 2015 principal ballet master.
