Annecy, Thonon-les-Bains, Annemasse… to whom have the elected officials of Haute-Savoie given their sponsorship
The final list of sponsorships for the presidential election (10 and 24 April) was unveiled on Monday 7 March. In Haute-Savoie, as in Savoie and Isère, local elected officials gave more support to the candidates of the Republicans and La République en Marche. Here are the sponsorship details.
Twelve contenders for a presidential race. This Monday, March 7, the Constitutional Council has drawn up the official list of candidates for the election to the presidency of the Republic which will take place on 10th and 24th April next. No more elected officials can give their sponsorship since Friday, March 4.
The 12 candidates, who obtained the necessary 500 signatures in at least thirty different departments are:
- Nathalie Arthaud (LO);
- Fabien Roussel (PCF);
- Emmanuel Macron (LREM);
- Jean Lassalle (Let’s resist!);
- Marine Le Pen (RN);
- Eric Zemmour (Reconquest!);
- Jean-Luc Mélenchon (LFI);
- Anne Hidalgo (PS);
- Yannick Jadot (ecologist);
- Valerie Pécresse (LR);
- Philippe Poutou (NPA);
- Nicolas Dupont-Aignan (DLF).
In Isère, as elsewhere, the number of sponsorships has dropped compared to the last presidential elections. At the national level, the number of sponsorships increased from 14,296 in 2017 to 13,427 in 2022.
As in Isère and Haute-Savoie, the candidate of the Republicans, Valérie Pécresse, stood out with local elected officials. La République en Marche and the outgoing President, Emmanuel Macron, collected 19 signatures.
The NPA candidate, Philippe Poutou, was able to count on an active base of local elected officials to bring together 14 sponsorships.
It should also be noted that the candidate of “Reconquête!”, Eric Zemmour, was ahead of the other far-right candidate, Marine Le Pen, in this department traditionally anchored on the right.
