Toulouse. A demonstration in the city center for International Women’s Day

A demonstration on the occasion of the international women’s day is being held this Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at Toulouse. The procession will leave at 2 p.m. from the Jolimont metro station.
Several collectives at the origin of the demonstration
Several collectives and associations respondent to the mobilization: Act up sud-ouest, Toulouse feminist collage, Collective accessibilization of LSF struggles, Toulouse transgender collective, Bread and roses, Family planning 31, Sans-culottes 31, We all 31 and resounding.
Call to strike
A demonstration which is accompanied by a call to strike. In their press release, the associations state as follows:
“For this March 8, 2022, we call for a feminist strike in the workplace, in homes, in schools and universities, and to stop all forms of consumption. Let’s stop all productive and domestic work, paid and free. “
Start of the procession in chosen mix
the procession which will leave at 2 p.m. and the organizers have planned a very special course. Behind a unitary banner, the first part of the procession will be in chosen mix, without cis men (that is to say without men who recognize themselves in the gender attributed to their birth). This first part will be followed by a batucada, before the rest of the procession, open to all demonstrators.
