Toulouse: Lolla, 13, missing for three weeks, found in the streets of Barcelona
Lolla, a 13-year-old girl who has been missing for three weeks, was found by Spanish police in Barcelona. She had been helped in her escape, despite themselves, by an Ardèche couple.
“I was so anxious that I can no longer sleep or eat… Now that I know where she is, the pressure has gone down but it will be really better when I can talk to her and take her in my arms” , sobs Monika, Lolla’s mother.
The teenager and her 16-year-old boyfriend were found by Spanish authorities on the streets of Barcelona. After an argument with her mother, the girl fled on February 12 from the family home in Saint-Sauveur-de-Cruzières in Ardèche. She then joined this boy who lives in Toulouse.
Her mother will have to take her troubles patiently before seeing her daughter again: “Lolla and her boyfriend have been placed in two separate centers while waiting to return to France. From what I understand, she will have to go through a home in Alès before she can go home. »
Lolla had been helped in her escape by a couple who live in a village near Alès. “My little one has the physique of a much older girl. I understand that they could have been deceived. They then accompanied him to Alès and even paid for the train for Toulouse…”, sighs Lolla’s mother.
The teenager had been picked up the following Monday by the police and placed in a home in the Pink City, the same evening before her parents found her, she had managed to flee without giving any news or to any member her family or her closest friends. “This silence was unbearable. We suspected that she was somewhere with her boyfriend but why did I tell myself that she had been able to meet bad people. I hope that after this episode, we will manage to communicate calmly. »
