Pollen allergies: Toulouse and Haute-Garonne placed on red alert

bad news for all allergy sufferers, Haute-Garonne was placed in Red alert pollen by the National Aerobiological Surveillance Network (RNSA).
The Cupressaceae, the main responsible
In Haute-Garonne, the Cupressaceae are ravaging since they are the main cause of these high risks of allergy in the department. Willows, poplars, hornbeams and elms are also in full bloom but without any real discomfort for allergy sufferers with a low level risk.
Other departments affected in Occitania
As observed the RNSA, Haute-Garonne is not the only department affected by this Red alert In the region. Five others are added to the list: Ariège (09), Aude (11), Pyrénées Occidentales (66), Hérault (34) and Gard (30).
Cupressaceae and alder are also the root cause of this pollen red alert in the rest of the region.
