Electricity distribution network manager, Enedis will recruit 54 employees in the Midi-Pyrénées South part, in 2022. It includes Gers, Ariège, and Haute-Garonne, where most of the recruitment will be closed.
Centered on Toulouse and Haute-Garonne
The arrival of these employees will take place within the framework of Enedis’ mission in 2022: “to meet the challenge of ecological transition in the territories and support the development of new electrical uses”, explains the group.
54 are sought in total, for the three departments covered by Enedis in the Midi-Pyrénées South: Ariège, Gers and Haute-Garonne. 16 will be on permanent or fixed-term contracts, and 38 on a work-study contract.
Contacted by Toulouse news, Enedis said more about the share that will be reserved for the Pink City and its department.
“For work-study, of the 38, there are 25 in Haute-Garonne, including 14 in Toulouse. Of the 16 permanent and fixed-term contracts, 12 will be in Haute-Garonne. We do not yet know the share of Toulouse, because it could be mobile stations.”
Three big challenges
Enedis indicates that future employees will have to ” meet three main challenges to build the new electric France”.
“A technical challenge: transforming the largest network in Europe into a connected and controllable network. A technological challenge: protecting the data of nearly 1.1 million customers. And finally, an ecological challenge: doing everything to concretely reduce CO2 emissions and contribute to carbon neutrality.”
An upcoming virtual job forum
On March 8 and 9, 2022, the Virtual Job Forum, an event in which Enedis in Midi-Pyrénées Sud will feature, will allow candidates to find out more about the missions that will be assigned to them. They could also meet, virtually, Enedis employees.
