Virtual Austria is currently undergoing a general overhaul.
After the Alps and Vienna have already been presented, there are now 11 announced screenshots for Linz and Innsbruck, including some information on how these cities will appear in ETS 2 in the future after the work is completed.
“Linz is the third largest city in Austria and as such it has had to change quite drastically. The bridge over the Danube has been replaced by another, a little further away, and an entirely new bridge will be built on the ring road, a new junkyard, a splendid new factory district and an overall industrial heart of the city, which means, among other changes, that some depots were relocated to suburban parts of the city.
zoom The last-mentioned change will hopefully help the in-game Linz and its industry to live up to its real-world counterpart and allow players to drive through the beautiful little villages nearby,” the developer studio says.
And there is also a bit of information about Innsbruck: “Innsbruck is an internationally known winter sports center and is situated in a wide valley between high mountains of a hill with the Bergisel ski jump – ski jumping area – by removing a sawmill and adding a quarry and a railway depot instead. “
