OL’s nice donation in support of the victims
At the step of some football players, Olympique Lyonnais, through its president Jean-Michel Aulas, came to support the victims of the invasion of Ukraine by Russia.
This Friday, Les Gones announced that he has donated 50,000 euros to UNICEF for Ukrainian children and their families, all through their foundation. This donation will be used to support the commitment of the United Nations agency on Ukrainian soil and in neighboring countries: access to water, education, health and protection. Other actions will follow very quickly on the same subject.
Olympique Lyonnais has also approached the authorities and certain clubs on the spot in order to provide them with assistance for them and their players. For now, he awaits their return. “The world of sport has been able to respond and mobilized with one voice for peace. The challenges facing us require that we show solidarity on all grounds and that OL is there, insisted President Aulas. We are going to complete our commitments in the coming weeks, particularly around football, to show once again that sport is a vector of national, but also international cohesion thanks to our common values. »
