The most natural thing is that if a Hungarian community is endangered somewhere, Zsolt Semjén, Deputy Prime Minister Zsolt Semjén, will be waiting for them on Friday in Vásárosnamény, where he handed over a donation to charities helping refugees from Ukraine.
Referring to the Russo-Ukrainian war at the event, Zsolt Semjén said that it was a sad and moving feeling that refugees had to be helped before the fighting, and that it was “uplifting and heroic”, as the whole country moved: charities, churches and families helped the troubled. . . The Deputy Prime Minister responsible for national politics, ecclesiastical affairs and nationalities emphasized that Hungarians from Transcarpathia were “coming home, fleeing home” to Hungary.
He said:because they are at home here, the most natural thing is if a Hungarian community is endangered somewhere, Hungary will wait for them home.He noted that Ukrainians fleeing from Ukraine to Hungary and those from any third country legally residing in Ukraine – “we look forward to helping them here with friends”.
He confirmed that we take care of everyone, the government will help those who stay here to find work.
At the event, Zsolt Semjén handed over two truck donations to refugee aid organizations, the Hungarian Red Cross and the Hungarian Maltese Charity. In this connection, the Deputy Prime Minister noted that a part of the donation was collected by the Hungarian community in Vojvodina and sent to Vásárosnamény.
This shows the solidarity that exists between the Hungarian continents– said Zsolt Semjén, adding, as the other parts of the nation are helping the part of the nation in distress, it is an example of solidarity, humanity and Hungarianness to all Hungarians.
