“CliMars Attack”. A week of mobilization on the climate in Toulouse
A week of mobilization to draw the attention of candidates for the presidential election to the climate is organized from March 5 to 13 in Toulouse.
From Saturday March 5 to Sunday March 13, a week of mobilization is organized in Toulouse to relay the alerts of scientists on climate issues. The event is called “CliMars attack: climate change, so what? “. The date is not chosen at random. The mobilization is organized a month before the first round of the presidential election, when all the candidates for the race for the Élysée are known. And for good reason, the objective is also to ask elected officials and candidates for election to make real commitments in terms of climate.
To the organization, to find oneself a dozen associations and collectives including Alternatiba Toulouse, Friends of the Earth Midi-Pyrénées, ANV-COP21 Toulouse, Extinction Rébellion, France Nature Environnement, Greenpeace Toulouse, and Youth for Climate.
