From this Monday, March 7 and until next April 1, traffic and parking will be prohibited for vehicles in several streets of the Saint-Augustin district, due to road repairs.
Traffic should not improve in the Tripod sector. It even risks jamming on Boulevard Pompidou. The reason ? Road repair works, eagerly awaited by local residents, which start from Monday for a period of one month in the Saint-Augustin district.
It will be impossible to park and drive in Louis Braille, Valentin Hauy and Capitaine Montauban streets. “Fences will be installed with the setting up of construction huts, toilets, but also the deposit of materials, construction vehicles, protections for pedestrians on the sidewalk”, we explain to Bordeaux Métropole.
This work will also have an impact on boulevard Pompidou (odd number side) in the portion located between boulevard Antoine-Gautier up to rue du Commandant-Marchand. Given the right-of-way it grants, this authorization is accompanied by a temporary traffic order. A pedestrian path will be laid out.
