The thanks of the health institutions to the volunteers of the Civil Protection for the activity carried out
The San Marino health institutions wanted to thank the Civil Protection Volunteers for the numerous services carried out in support of the Institute for Social Security. Yesterday, in the “il Monte” room of the ISS, a ceremony was held in the presence of the Secretary of State for Health, the Secretary of State for the Territory, the ISS Executive Committee, the officials of the Secretariat of State for to Internal Affairs and the Secretariat of State for Industry and the Head of Civil Protection. In fact, they are beyond a service that they have dedicated that in these months of health emergency have dedicated time and energy to supporting the ISS in numerous activities to the population of the population. Valuable human resources that have been and are present at Punto Vaccini Ospedaliero, in access control, in vaccine transport and, subsequently, also in the Info Covid service, the health number 0549 994001.
A non-stop and commendable activity that the health institutions, together with the Civil Protection Coordination, wanted to thank by delivering a certificate of thanks.
In detail, some numbers relating to the various services carried out by the Civil Protection volunteers are listed:
– Services: Vaccine Point Assistance, Green Pass Control, Vaccine Transport
Duration: from 15/11/2021 to 18/02/2022 for a total of 15 weeks;
Organization of the service: two shifts a day of at least 4 hours each, from Monday to Friday, No. of volunteers employed: 80 volunteers employed in rotation in the various shifts
– Infocovid service
Duration: from 22/12/2021 to 25/02/2022 for a total of 10 weeks;
Organization of the service: two shifts a day of at least 3 hours each, from Monday to Saturday No. of volunteers employed: 16 volunteers employed in rotation in the shifts (to carry out this task, a group was selected who followed two specific courses of training, organization by doctors and nurses of the Covid Team and by the ISS Press Office.)
– Number of phone calls handled: 5,395 (on average about 540 phone calls per week)
The total hours employed by the Volunteers in the various services were 2082, distributed as follows in the various services:
340 hours for assistance at the Cailungo vaccine point;
76 hours for the transport of vaccines from the hospital to the Vaccini Point at the Azzurro Shopping Center;
1109 hours for the Green Pass control at the two hospital entrances;
531 hours for the InfoCovid ISS service;
26 hours for the logistics team.
