Toulouse: the pee stop lasts too long, the bus leaves without it
Laurent D., while returning from Paris on a bus, was forgotten after a break at a rest area between Cahors and Montauban. The Toulouse ticket will not be refunded.
” It is unacceptable ! “More than a week after his misadventure, Laurent D., a resident of the Toulouse suburbs, is not taking off. When the 50-year-old man was returning from a short stay in Paris, from February 16 to 17, the Flixbus bus which brought him back forgot him at a rest area. “We stopped several times on the journey between Paris and Toulouse, including at the Bois de Dourre Total area (between Cahors and Montauban). The stop was supposed to last 10 minutes. But I have prostate problems. I stopped 15 minutes at the toilets of the gas station. When I left, the Flixbus bus had left,” says Laurent D.
It is 5:45 a.m. Confused, he calls the gendarmerie about ten minutes later. She tells me that the situation would have been the same if I had been 14 or 15… She tried to join Flixbus without success”, continues the Toulousain.
Helpless and angry, he waits, looking for a solution. A Blablacar bus stops a few meters from him at 6:13 a.m. “The two drivers were extraordinary. Of a formidable kindness. They agreed to take me on their bus. One of the drivers informed me that he was recounting all the passengers when he left. Which is not the case at Flixbus”, criticizes Laurent D.
A complaint lodged
Once he arrives at the Toulouse bus station, he learns that the Flixbus bus has still not arrived. A customs check delayed it. Still angry, Laurent D. is waiting for him resolutely. 10 minutes later, his former escort arrives. He explains the situation to the driver. During this time, his belongings left on the bus disappeared. “He (the driver) informed me that the company had to reimburse me for my Bus ticket (€49.99) and my stolen items (€97.97 ) or 147.96 €”, he says before scolding: “I saw on the internet that my situation happened to a lot of people. »
Now, he has received a letter from the transport company, telling him that the ticket will not be refunded. The break should last 10 minutes and no more.
His USB-C phone charger and backup Samsung battery should be refunded. Laurent D. also filed a complaint against the passenger sitting next to him, whom he suspects of having stolen his belongings.
