The regime of the parking for a fee in the streets of Genoa is called Blue Zone and foresees time rate for non-residents and forms of flat rate subscription annual or temporary for residents and similar. ZONA BLU GENOVA: HOW IS THE PAID PARKING ORGANIZED?
In Genoa the current regulation of parking spaces for a fee provides for the differentiation between:

The Blue Zone area are Foce (zone A and B), Bassa Val Bisagno (zone C), Bassa Val Bisagno (zone T), Carignano (zone D and E), Centro (zone F and G), Alture (zone H), Albaro (zone L and M), San Fruttuoso (zone R). ZONA BLU GENOVA: TIMETABLES AND RATES
Blu Area Genova activation times are 8:00 – 20:00 every weekday. Any exceptions are communicated by affixing road signs.
The rate it changes according to the membership band and the duration of the stop.
– First rate range:
First hour of rest: hourly rate of € 1.30, without splitting;
Second hour of rest: hourly rate of € 1.70, with splitting of the rate in relation to the amount stopped, with a minimum cut of € 0.05;
From the third hour of rest: hourly rate of € 2.00, with splitting of the rate in relation to the amount stopped, with a minimum cut of € 0.05.
– Second rate band:
First hour of rest: hourly rate of € 1.10. First 30 minutes € 0.55. Seconds 30 minutes, split of the fare in relation to the actual amount stopped, with a minimum cut of € 0.05;
Second hour of rest: hourly rate of € 1.40, with splitting of the rate in relation to the amount stopped, with a minimum cut of € 0.05;
From the third hour of rest: hourly rate of € 1.50, with splitting of the rate in relation to the amount stopped, with a minimum cut of € 0.05.
– Third pricing bracket:
Invariable hourly rate of € 1.00with splitting from 30 minutes to € 0.50.
The cost has been calibrated in order to discourage long-term stops in order to encourage rapid turnover and constant availability of seats.

BLUE ZONE GENOA: HOW TO PAY
The payment for parking in on-street parking in Genoa it must be done in advance and for the entire duration of the stop. All parking tickets are on sale at the Genova Parcheggi offices and authorized resellers. Alternatively, the following payment methods are available:
– Parking meters: coins or electronic cards of the Visa, Mastercard and Maestro circuits are used, the coupon goes on the dashboard of the vehicle, clearly visible.
– Scratch and stop: voucher worth 1.30, 1.70, 2.00, 1.10, 1.40 and 1.50 euros depending on the time needed. It is necessary to carefully scratch the boxes of the hourly rate of the area, the year, the month, the day, the hour and the minutes of the stop, then expose the coupon clearly visible on the dashboard of the car.
