Yego and Felyx electric scooters are coming in the spring
This is great news for those nostalgic for the old ones. electric scooters of the Indigo Wheel company in Toulouse. Only a few weeks after their disappearance, two other operators have just been selected by the Pink City to offer these two-wheelers again self-service, and thus complete its public transport offer. Objective: “to allow everyone to move easily while preserving air quality”, says the town hall in a press release.

Yego and Felyx retained
This choice is part of the Call for expressions of interest launched in June 2021 by the city, “after several requests”, she specifies. And the two companies finally selected are the following: Yego and Felyx.
One is already present in Bordeaux and Paris with its light green vehicles, and the other in Holland, Belgium and Germany with bottle green vehicles. Their arrival is expected by spring, between late April and early May. And each will make available to the public 300 scootersor 600 in total.
The two companies will also pay an annual fee of 50 euros each per vehicle, allowing it to park on the road,” specifies the town hall.

No more Indigo Wheel since December
This announcement comes more than two months after the fire that ravaged the premises of the Indigo Wheel company in Colomiers, on December 13th. This disaster destroyed its stock of lithium batteries and led to the permanent withdrawal of its bicycles and scooters a month later, on January 19, 2022. Installed since 2018, the service had made it possible to succeed 800 two-wheelers in the city pink, used by about 30,000 people.
