Plenty of sun on Shrove Monday: At the beginning of the week, people throughout North Rhine-Westphalia can look forward to blue skies and sunshine. “On Shrove Monday there is sun from morning to night,” said a meteorologist from the German Weather Service (DWD). “With temperatures of eleven to twelve degrees, it will also be very mild.”
In the coming nights, however, temperatures could fall below zero, especially in the mountains. On the streets, it can be smoothly isolated. It will remain mostly dry on Tuesday. “The day begins again with the sun, later loose clouds come from the west,” said the DWD meteorologist. In Münsterland, a few drops of rain cannot be ruled out, but in the south-east of the country it will remain bright to sunny for longer. The maximum values are therefore between eight and ten degrees.
According to the DWD forecast, it should also be mostly clear and dry on Wednesday. Temperatures between eight and twelve degrees are expected.
