Germany’s largest discounter for home and garden will open its first branch in Germany on March 28, 2022.
Thomas Philipps operates over 250 stores in Germany, which are visited by more than 100,000 customers every day. Due to its special concept, you will find products from the areas of gardening, household, hobbies, pets and everyday needs – including attractive offers, branded articles and private labels. Now the family business would like to gain a foothold in Austria and open its first store in Köflach in Styria at the end of March. Thomas Philipps Köflach started with at least ten employees from the region at the beginning of the Austrian market entry. In the next five years, 30 more stores are to follow in Austria.

Focus on garden supplies
In addition to its standard range, the company offers up to 200 additional promotional and seasonal items every week. A major focus, which is unique in the discounter segment, is on the areas of gardening and gardening supplies.
