Sporting CP did everything for another result, but drew with CS Marítimo (1-1)
The main football team of Sporting Clube de Portugal went to CS Marítimo to draw 1-1, this Saturday, in a game counting for the 24th round of the Liga Portugal.
In view of the absences of Pablo Sarabia, João Palhinha, Pedro Gonçalves, Bruno Tabata and Zouhair Feddal, coach Rúben Amorim presented changes in the eleven and bet on the debut as a starter of Islam Slimani, in addition to the return of Sebastián Coates, after punishment, and the entries by Daniel Bragança and Nuno Santos.
The duel in Barreiros started approximately with the goal of the red-greens, which opened the scoring after just five minutes through Xadas. However, Leonina’s response was not long in coming and came through shots from Perigomani, Coates and Pedro Porro, who still haven’t assimilated giving the best direction to exclusive submissions.
