Julian Nagelsmann: exit? Top club dredges the coach of FC Bayern Munich

    conclude

FC Bayern Munich has found its dream coach. But Julian Nagelsmann is also in great demand elsewhere. For example in Spain.

Munich – Julian Nagelsmann is a coach of superlatives. Extremely young, extremely successful, extremely goal-oriented. At the age of 34 he has already managed to land on the chair of his favorite club. And there, at FC Bayern Munich*, he also wants to stay for a few more years. Maybe even ten? clear! “The only question is whether the club can imagine that. I’m not someone who has to move all the time. Moving really excites me. If I can stay here for ten years now, I would also be satisfied,” he said at a press conference in December.

Then Nagelsmann already has a plan for his future life. Most recently he said in an interview: “I started competitive sports when I was 14, studied after high school, played football at the same time and then became a coach. I don’t need a sabbatical, I’m full of energy. But if I don’t stop coaching until I’m 70, I don’t know if I can still start surfing in Portugal.” Nagelsmann loves a number of other sports besides football and feels at home in nature. It goes without saying that he wants to discover as much of it as possible. And that’s why the classic way of a coachstaying active into old age may not necessarily be Plan A.

Julian Nagelsmann: Bayern coach is a topic at Real Madrid

These thoughts will help you real Madrid don’t like to hear. Because that’s exactly where Nagelsmann should end up one day, if President Florentino Perez has his way – and better today than tomorrow!

  • Julian Nagelsman
  • FC Bayern Munich
  • Born: July 23, 1987 (age 34), Landsberg am Lech
  • Previous clubs (as a professional coach): 1899 Hoffenheim, RB Leipzig
  • Contract with FC Bayern Munich until: June 30, 2026

According to the Spanish portal “Onda Futbol”, the royal team is said to be dissatisfied with the work of coach Carlo Ancelotti – from 2016 to 2017 in Munich. Allegedly, Perez doesn’t like how the white ballet dances. The gameplay left a lot to be desired. That’s why the real boss is apparently already thinking about a successor. Even more: He has already found it – at Nagelsmann!

Julian Nagelsmann to Real Madrid? There was contact before

The interest is not really new, the Madrilenians had already put out feelers to Nagelsmann in Hoffenheim’s times. Back then, in 2018, it even became quite concrete, as Nagelsmann once revealed in a Sport-Bild interview. “It’s not like I had a contract ready to be signed at the time. Real wanted to talk to me to get to know me. I said it doesn’t make sense at the time. It would have been only three weeks until the start of training, I could hardly speak Spanish. That would not have satisfied my or Real’s requirements.”

Will there be a collaboration at some point? Nagelsmann should feel flattered, but he certainly has other things on his mind at the moment: dying, for example FC Bayern’s mini-crisis. (acl)
