Covid-19. AM of Lisbon approves extraordinary support measures worth 2 million euros
The Municipal Assembly of Lisbon initiative proposals, for an extraordinary initiative to support the economy in the context of the 19 pandemic, in an investment of “about million euros”, by the Chamber.

The councilor for the Economy of the Lisbon Chamber (CDS-PP), assumed that “there is not a big difference” in relation to the measures approved by the previous executive (chaired by Fernando MedinaPS), an initiative as a novelty “the extension of years” in the concession contracts of two kiosks and advance payments that the Recupar+ program will be presented “soon” to support investment renewal.
Among the measures, are reduced to the 1st quarter of this year, the 100% exemption from public occupancy rates and advertising of closed terraces, 50% of the payment of rents or installments against references to non-housing contracts and a 50% reduction. % of the payment of rents or considerations related to concession contracts for the operation of kiosks and markets with a drop of more than 25% in 2021.
Another of the measures, which will apply at the end of this year, is the suspension of payment for the occupation of the installation site when a license is required for the installation of the esplanade or exhibition procedure.
The Municipal Mobility Assembly also made the proposal of the Lisbon City Council, increased by 2.76 million euros, to complement the one attributed to the Municipal Company of the Lisbon Parking Program (EMEL), as well as the draft contract of the Municipal Company of Lisbon (EMEL ), as well as the draft contract of the Empresa Municipal Sociedade de ReabilitaĆ§Ć£o Urbana (SRU).
