“DIE.NACHT”: “Welcome to Austria” with Anna Gasser and Andreas Vitásek on February 22nd on ORF 1
Also: New episode “Pratersterne” and reunion with “Gute Nacht Österreich”
Vienna (OTS) – “DIE.NACHT” started on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, on ORF 1 from 10 p.m. with “Welcome Austria”. The Tuesday night doubles Stermann and Grissemann meet the Olympic doubles winner in the snowboard big air competition:
Sensational snowboarder Anna Gasser comes straight from the Olympic Village in Beijing to the glamorous Marxpalast. The cult cabaret artist Andreas Vitásek will also visit the up-and-coming presidential candidate “Amazing Dirk” Stermann and his witty opponent Grissemann. Afterwards, at 11 p.m., the “Prater stars” rise in the “DIE.NACHT” sky: host Hosea Ratschiller once again welcomes current and future stars of the cabaret scene. Magda Leeb, Elias Hirschl, Ina Jovanovic and the duo Christoph & Lollo can be seen on the stand-up stage. And finally, at 11.45 p.m., the Dacapo will say “Good night Austria”.
“Welcome to Austria with Stermann & Grissemann” at 10 p.m
Anna Gasser was last a guest in “Welcome Austria” in 2017. After winning numerous contests and two Olympic gold medals later, the Carinthian is still down to earth, at least when she’s not snowboarding. “I’m not at all familiar with snowboarding,” Grissemann admitted during the last conversation with the Australian Sportswoman of the Year. In the talk with the four-time winner of the X-Games, he can prove whether he has acquired the basic knowledge of Big Air, Freestyle and Slopestyle in the meantime.
“I am the other” is not Andreas Vitásek’s contribution to the round of introductions, but the title of his literary self-portrait. In it, the cabaret legend writes about the highs and lows of his stage and film career, the way from favorites to Paris and the desire to change from the old white man to the old wise man. It remains to be seen whether he has chosen the right company with the old sages of Late Night.
New episodes: “Pratersterne” with Leeb, Hirschl, Jovanovic and Christoph & Lollo at 11 p.m
Hosea Ratschiller brings a real sparkle to the Fluc stage this time. Magda Leeb insists on tolerance towards “alternative astrology” and doesn’t always want to believe the media with their “12 zodiac theory”. The literary little artist Elias Hirschl has put together an incredible text with one-star ratings from a mail order company. For the first time on stage, Ina Jovanovic reported on the advantages and disadvantages of being a “Carinthian Serb”. And the award-winning duo Christoph & Lollo outdo themselves with an ode to their own heroism.
