Inter RAO Lietuva’s profit fell by a third last year to 7.4 million. Euros

Last year, the electricity supplier Inter RAO, controlled by the Russian energy mill Inter RAO Lithuania, employed 7.4 million people in Lithuania. Eur net profit is almost a third less than a year ago.
In 2020, the company’s profit will reach 10.8 million. Last year, its sales revenue in Lithuania amounted to 120.4 million euros. EUR – 13.1 million Eur less than upstairs, Inter RAO Lithuania reports.
Giedrius Balinas, General Manager of Inter RAO Lietuva, said in a statement that the constantly changing operating conditions resulted in lower sales of electricity in the Lithuanian market and lower sales revenues.
During the year, the company sold 1,959 gigawatt hours (GWh) of electricity (2020-3,231 GWh), imported it only from Russia, bought it at the Nord Pool office and from a local producer, and produced it at the Vydmantai wind park owned by the subsidiary.
The net profit of the Inter RAO Lietuva group, which owns the subsidiaries Inter RAO Latvia, Inter RAO Eesti, IRL Polska and Vydmantai wind park, last year amounted to LTL 14.3 million. EUR (EUR 12.2 million in 2020).
In 2021, it sold 7,650 GWh of electricity in all operating countries (5,781 GWh in 2020) and received LTL 334.3 million. EUR pajamas (EUR 163.4 million per year).
51% of Inter RAO Lietuvos shares are owned by the Finnish company RAO Nordic OY, 29% of shares are owned by the Lithuanian investment company Scaent Baltic. Another 20% is freely traded in the Varuva office.
